Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose and Scope

Results.CSIWITS is an official web platform created for students of CSI Wesley Institute of Technology and Sciences under Regulation 18 (R18) and Regulation 22 (R22). The platform enables secure, user-friendly access to academic results and performance analytics.

2. Access and Usage

• Access is strictly limited to currently enrolled, eligible students with official credentials.
• Each student may view only their own results and academic analysis.
• It is strictly prohibited to share login details, attempt to access another user’s results, or allow unauthorized individuals to use your account.

3. Features & Functional Logic

• Personal Dashboard: Students can instantly view semester-wise results, backlog counts, and total backlogs in one interface.
• Multiple Results Feature: The dashboard aggregates all available semester results and backlog information for each student. Upcoming updates will include direct SGPA calculations.
• Exclusion Policy: The platform does not display or upload Revaluation (RC/RV) results; only officially released semester results are available.

4. Security & Data Confidentiality

• All data is encrypted and securely stored. Access is strictly controlled and monitored.
• Students are forbidden from downloading, sharing, scraping, or misusing data found on the platform.
• The result analysis and platform content must not be cloned, copied, or used as a mini/major project by any student, inside or outside the campus.
• Any misuse, unauthorized access, or attempts to breach security will result in immediate account suspension and possible disciplinary/legal action.

5. Methodology & Transparency

• The technical methodology (Python Django, PHP MyAdmin, MySQL) and data analysis logic are disclosed to CSI Wesley administration for transparency.
• All logic and calculations, including future SGPA integration, are subject to approval and periodic review by the institution.

6. Intellectual Property

• Results.CSIWITS, including all software, code, logic, design, and content, is the intellectual property of Mr. Jaya Chandra Karthikeyan and CSI Wesley Institute of Technology and Sciences.
• Replication, adaptation, or distribution of any part of the project without written consent is strictly prohibited.

7. Liability & Disclaimer

• Informational Tool: Results.CSIWITS is an informational tool. All results and analyses are provided for academic guidance only.
• No Blame Clause: The developer and campus shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, actions, or misunderstandings resulting from the use, interpretation, or accuracy of the results displayed.
• Users are strictly prohibited from blaming, filing grievances, or holding Results.CSIWITS, its developer, or campus staff responsible for technical errors, data discrepancies, or omissions.
• Users are encouraged to contact campus administration for any official clarification or dispute regarding results.

8. Policy Violations

• Any violation of these terms will result in suspension or permanent revocation of access, as well as disciplinary action in accordance with campus rules.

9. Amendments

• CSI Wesley Institute of Technology and Sciences reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
